Who is J.C. Wolfe?
J.C. Wolfe is the artistic alter ego of a shy, nerdy 20-something-year-old biologist with a colorful imagination and a lifelong dream of being a fiction writer. She is a born-and-raised American, and after finishing grad school six thousand miles away in the exotic southern region of Brazil, she once again resides in her true home in California. Her favorite literary genres are fantasy and science fiction, and she hides behind a gender-neutral pen name while she weaves her endless thoughts and daydreams into stories meant to touch hearts and inspire the imagination of any soul who might cross her path.

Off The Bookshelf: Horton Hears a Who!
Since last week's post was dedicated to the amazing children's author Dr. Seuss, I wanted to follow it up with a post about one of his many wonderful books. However, the more I thought about it, the more I realized how hard it would be to choose which book to feature;...
Journal – 100th Blog Post!

Hot Off the Press
One Mistake
I never saw the spider. I kept telling them on the way to the hospital: I opened the door just for a second to let the cat out, and then I went back to the living room. I never saw that spider sneaking in. Yet here we were two hours later, listening to the doctor tell...

Breaking Blocks
(What If? Exercise: Read the description here.) I sat at my desk, typing away at my computer, trying to break through my writer's block as I wrote about anything and everything that came to mind, hoping some random idea would blossom into a story, when I happened to...
