It’s the month of love, so why not celebrate creatively with some more “What If?” Writing Prompts? It’s been a long time since I’ve shared a set of love and peace prompts, so here are a few new ones for you to try! See what stories you can create from these ideas! Enjoy!
What if… the world’s only religion/faith were Love?
What if… social tolerance were a subject taught in schools worldwide?
What if… the differences among people were only ever cause for celebration, not conflict?
What if… every nation made children’s education a top priority?
What if… for a brief time, there were no wars happening anywhere in the entire world?
Have fun writing more stories about love and peace!
If you have any “What If?” writing prompt suggestions (for any theme), please feel free to share them in the comments below. Ideas I like may be featured in future “What If?” posts, with full credit and a link to your blog (if you have one)! Also, if you’ve written a piece based on an idea you’ve found here, be sure to link back to the respective “What If?” post. I would love to see what you’ve done with the prompt! Thank you!
Just found your site while looking for writing prompts (I write poetry). Some of your other suggestions were interesting, but I especially loved these. In today’s political climate where there is so much bigotry being tossed about, these were much more positive stimuli.
Thank you very much! Glad you like my prompts! I sometimes get depressed about the political climate of the world, so writing these positive story ideas is a good way to feel better. Hope they’ve inspired you! Thanks for reading! ๐
Pardon, I think the last part or my comment got hijacked. should read “these were much more positive stimuli.”
Hello JC –
Just thought you should know… on my screen anyway, the pictures that accompanying replies (can’t get the proper name of them out right now) are covering up more and more of the replies. You may want to check on that… And I saw you also write poetry — yea! Thanks for replying and I’ll keep coming back to check out more posts I’m sure.
Not sure I understand what you mean. Are you referring to the Gravatars next to the comment replies? Those are set to pop out if you hover over or tap on them, though maybe for some screens they don’t work properly. Unfortunately, I don’t have a smartphone; I open my blog almost exclusively on a laptop and the few other times on a tablet, neither of which seem to be showing a problem, so if it’s a smartphone issue, I’ll have to try checking it on a friend’s later. Thanks for letting me know!
Also, just checked out your blog. You have interesting content too! I’ll be sure to read more of your posts soon. Thanks for stopping by! ๐
hello –
Those gravatars (I think that’s what they’re called) seem to cover the comment and if I hover over them, another box pops up saying “view my complete profile” I use a pc (I’m such a dinosaur) and I suspect it has to do with something to make things mobile friendly. Don’t you love technology?
And it was so nice for you to check out my blog. and for the nice comment. And definitely keep up your own good work!!!
