My darling baby sister,
You’ve always been to me
A gift sent from above,
The baby of the family.
My lovely baby sister,
You know this is a crime,
The way you’re getting older
Like you’re fast-forwarding time?
Adoring baby sister,
I wish you’d understand
Growing up is overrated,
Nothing special, nothing grand.
And yet, dear baby sister,
I know this to be true:
You’ve finally come of age,
And there’s nothing I can do.
So maybe this, sweet sister,
Is what you’ve been waiting for:
A time when I can’t see you
As a baby anymore.
But know, my darling sister,
That I love you anyway.
May you have a great adult life
And a wonderful birthday!
Happy Birthday to my awesome baby sister! Stay sweet, and know that no matter how old you get, I’ll always love you!

To be the middle sister
Is a blessing and a curse.
To one sister, you’re the “better”;
To the other, you’re the “worse”.
When it comes to being older,
You’ve had gifts enough to give
To the younger of your siblings,
Who adores the life you live.
At the same time, being younger
Must have been a challenge too,
Growing up with someone older
Who made life so tough for you.
Yet the sister who’s your elder,
Who pretends to reign supreme,
Is in fact a little envious
Of your life lived like a dream.
But regardless of her envy,
She adores you just the same,
And she couldn’t be more proud
Of the person you became.
So today, my dearest sister,
Please allow me just to say
That I love you very much
And hope you have a great birthday!
Happy Birthday to my amazing little sister! Keep being the wonderful person you are! I love you!

If I could be with you today,
I’d never leave your side.
I’d stay with you from dawn to dusk
And through the eventide.
If I could spend the day with you,
I’d make it so much fun.
We’d play all day and through the night
Until the morning sun.
If I could hold you close today,
I’d never let you go.
I’d smother you with snuggles
(As you only too well know).
If I could touch your lips today,
I’d kiss you long and deep.
You’d know from all my passion
That my love is yours to keep.
But I can’t have you for a day
Until I know for sure
That I can have you all my life,
Now and forevermore.
Someday I’ll be with you again,
And then we’ll know at last
The perfect days together
That we’ve missed in years gone past.
So wait for me, my love; someday,
We’ll make our dreams come true.
Until that day, remember
That I always will love you!
Happy Valentine’s Day to my adoring boyfriend! Thank you for always loving me so much, no matter how far apart we are. I love you, sweetheart!

Deck the halls with holly.
Roast chestnuts on a fire.
Hear the soft angelic voices
Of a caroling children’s choir.
Snowflakes frost the windows
In the quiet winter air,
While the smell of fresh-baked cookies
Wafts through houses everywhere.
Candy canes fill stockings
Hung above the fireplace.
Loved ones joined around the table
Start a feast by saying grace.
Excited little children
Gaze up at the starry sky
To catch a glimpse of Santa
And his reindeer that can fly.
The family all gathers
Round the decorated tree
As they give each other presents
And they share each other’s glee!
‘Tis the season to be jolly!
May your day be full of cheer!
Have a very Merry Christmas
And a wonderful New Year!
Merry Christmas to all my family, friends, and readers who are celebrating! May you all have a blessed weekend and a wonderful holiday season!

Outside, the moon begins to rise.
You lie in bed and close your eyes.
Into a peaceful sleep, you fall,
Until the nightmares come to call.
You’re in a forest all alone
When suddenly, you hear a groan.
You turn and what should stop your breath?
A monstrous face that looks like Death.
You tell yourself it’s just a dream,
But then you hear the creature scream.
Oh, what a horrifying sound:
A roar that shakes the very ground.
As terror rises in your heart,
You stumble backwards with a start,
And faster than you knew you could,
You race into the haunted wood.
You turn a corner, two, and three,
But anywhere you try to flee,
The maze will always lead you back
Into the world of endless black.
You try to run, you try to hide.
There’s no escape; you’re trapped inside
This dreadful place of dark and gloom,
Where one wrong step means certain doom.
You dare to glance behind at last
And see the beast is gaining fast.
You close your eyes and start to pray
That somehow it will be okay.
Yet once you give in to the night,
The monster halts in blinding light,
And quickly as you saw its face,
It vanishes without a trace.
The warm bright light envelops you.
The cold dark black turns into blue.
You raise your head and breathe a sigh
To see the early morning sky.
You lie back down and rest your head,
Relieved to know you’re safe in bed.
The moon gave way to greet the sun.
The nightmare’s over. You have won.
